St. Patrick's Day :: Lucky Me Shirts {+ a giveaway!}... now closed

Years ago I made St. Patrick's Day Shirts for my children and they were a hit.  A H.U.G.E. blog hit.  Everyone seemed to love them.  This year marks the first year when the original shirts I made will not fit any of my children - so a new set was needed!

They took a little while to make - but mostly because I stopped at every step to take a picture.  And then as soon as they were done, everyone took turns getting the stomach flu.  I had a darling picture in mind for the entire family together with their shirts on...  maybe next year?

You'll need
Freezer paper
"Lucky Me" Template
Hamilton Beach Durathon Iron {or what ever iron you have}
Fabric Paint
Sponge tip paint brushes

Step 1 ::  Cut freezer paper to 7.5" x 10" and tape flat to card stock printer paper.  Print the template onto the freezer paper side.
Step 2 ::  Remove freezer paper from card stock and cut out template.
Step 3 ::  Iron the template onto the shirt using the 'cotton' setting with no steam.
Step 4 ::  Mix paints and begin painting a rainbow.  Let dry.
Step 5 ::  Remove template and set paint according to instructions on the paint bottle.

One of you lucky ducks will be able to win this this fabulous Hamilton Beach Durathon iron.  The Durathon has a non-stick surface on the hot part where you iron which means you will not end up with a nasty looking iron like my last one.  My previous iron is nasty looking.  It also has super steaming capability and a retractable cord - things I like very much.  I'm kind of a super fan of this iron and I'm not an ironer.  Want to win this iron?  Leave a comment below so you're entered to win then be sure we are friends on Facebook because that's where we will announce the winner the morning of March 12th.

Entries must be posted by Tuesday, March 11th at 9pm PST, and one winner will be chosen at random. The winner will be sent one Hamilton Beach Durathon Iron valued at $44.99.  Good luck!

{Limited to US residents only. Please do not leave your email or web address in the body of the comment, only in the allotted boxes. Winner will be contacted by email once comments close, posted on Facebook and announced on the bottom of this post soon after.}

Very clever - love the rainbow. Thanks for the opportunity [my iron is also not non-stick, and is nasty. blech.]

Ohh so desperately need a new iron. After moving into my new place, with new baby in tow, it broke during the move. Thanks for the chance and I may just have to do this for my lil one as well. Following on FB under Angel V Burce. :-)
